I know, I know... the audio is "hosed" which is to0 bad because this was such a great interview with Kathleen. At the BLC "meet and greet" we get to play a game, much like filling out a Bingo grid, finding different people who can sign off on a particular topic. For instance, if you've been to BLC before, you can sign someone's paper in that block. If you have a photo on Flickr, you can sign that block. If you speak another language... etc. It's a great way to meet new people at the conference.
The most difficult block was to find someone who's lended money on Kiva.org (a "micro-lending" site). There were literally only 2 people in the entire room who had done this and Kathleen was one. She had just learned about it the day before and had made a micro loan. What I really liked was that she immediately got her 2 sons gift certificates so they could go online and find someone to give a loan to. What a great idea! Must do this with my daughter!
